Aggregates used for pipe bedding and sidefill conforms to BS882.

Comments:
For flexible plastic pipes the pipe bedding should surround the pipe and to a depth of at least 100mm underneath. For clay pipes to a depth of 100mm underneath, but only needs to be filled to the centre of the pipe.

Measuring the area you want to add aggregate to can be quite daunting, we have added some information here that may help you.
It is very important that you order approximately 5% - 10% extra aggregate for filling odd spaces and to cover the inaccuracy of measurements.
